Parents

It is very important to us at Knights Enham Nursery and Infant that we work closely with parents and carers in the best interests of children.

We will begin to work together when your child first starts with us either at your home visit or when you meet us in school. Once your child is in school we see you every day at the class door and the morning reading routine is a relaxed way to come into class and drop your child off. Staff are available for a quick chat at the door or always able to arrange a longer meeting with you.

Throughout the year we have events such as Tea Parties, parent/teacher meetings, performances, maths fairs and PTA events where we can keep in touch. We send home a weekly newsletter and theme sheets when we begin new learning plans in school. Every Friday you are welcome to come along to Celebration Assembly at 9:15am when we share learning, give reading awards and stars of the weeks and lots more!

All children have a Reading Diary (or Communication Book in the Pod) and we will share lots of reading learning ideas with you there. We ask that you let us know how the reading is going at home. If you have a message about something else and haven't had a chat with staff in the morning then please phone the School Office to leave a message or arrange a time to meet with a member of staff. If your child is not well and not in school please phone the School Office on the same day.

The School Office is open between 8:30 am and 4pm every day and you can call in or phone if you have any queries - we will always be happy to help!

Please just ask if you would like a paper copy of any information found on our website, we are happy to provide this.
