Home Learning

Parental support with learning makes all the difference to children’s educational progress and attitude to learning.

Home Learning Tasks are given out each week on a Friday in the child’s Home Learning folder. These tasks should be completed with some parental support and returned to the Home Learning Tray in each classroom by the following Wednesday. Tasks will include number work, short writing activities, phonics and spelling and grammar. All tasks support the children's current learning in the classroom. We also ask parents/carers to share reading and language activities with the children and these can be found in the children’s reading diaries.

Here are some other activities that could be used to support learning at home.
