Please read the information below which gives details of our Pupil Premium Grant and how we allocate the funding.
Schools are given a basic budget each year which is based on how many children there are at the school but there is extra funding given to schools and this is called Pupil Premium. The amount of Pupil Premium money a school receives depends on how many children of Service families there are at the school and how many children of families who are able to claim income support or other benefits. To be able to get this extra funding families have to let the school know that they claim certain benefits. It sounds complicated but it’s really not! Please ask Sally Loaders for more information and if your circumstances change just let her know.
Each additional Pupil Premium child means extra money for the school budget to help children get the best deal they can at our school. We spend the money on a range of different resources and opportunities including helping with staffing, reading books, breakfast club, specialist help and classroom resources. Please talk to Sally Loader our Family Partnership Officer and she can do the checks for you. This is completely confidential and the information is not shared outside school.
