We currently have a vacancy for a Part-time Class Teacher (Maternity Cover).


Knights Enham Nursery and Infant School are seeking a part time teacher to cover maternity leave in a Year 1 Class. We are looking for an energetic and enthusiastic practitioner who is able to join our dedicated staff team from mid January 2020. Working alongside a teacher colleague in a parallel Year 1 Class you will be effective in planning for learning to ensure all children receive the best provision and make progress.


Our school is located on the north side of Andover and the site has benefited from modernisation. The school serves the local community and we work together to respect everyone regardless of difference, understanding that we all have the responsibility to make the best contribution we can. This is an exciting opportunity for a teacher, at any stage of their career, who is motivated to be part of an experienced staff team who are focused on making a positive impact. You will:-

-be an excellent practitioner who is committed to providing high quality learning experiences for all children;

-have strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with all stakeholders;

-be committed to working as part of a team with a relentless focus on excellence for all;

-ideally have experience of assessment within KS1 or Early Years or be willing to work quickly to develop your knowledge and understanding.

We currently have a vacancy for a Lunchtime Supervisory Assistant.


We are looking to appoint a calm, friendly and enthusiastic person to join our existing dedicated team of supervisory assistants. The successful applicant will be working within a supportive team and will be an important member of the school structure. The position is permanent and to start as soon as possible.

You will need to be flexible, ideally have experience of working with children, ensuring confidentiality and safeguarding is given high regard and be willing to undertake basic first aid training.

Main duties will include:

• Supervising pupils in the lunch hall, outside on the playground or in their classrooms during wet lunch breaks.
• Encouraging positive play by leading a range of playground games.
• Ensuring the safety, welfare and good conduct of pupils.
• Promoting healthy eating.
• Ensuring any issues are dealt with in a positive and thoughtful manner and that where appropriate deciding which issues should be raised with relevant staff.
• Assisting with associated duties, e.g. cleaning up spillages, ensuring tables are clean, etc.
