Job/Person Summary

Knights Enham Nursery & Infant School is an exciting, vibrant and rewarding place to work. We are one of the few Hampshire Schools with our own School-led Nursery and we are very proud of our strong early years approach, which runs throughout the school. Our vision is for ‘Children to be at the Heart of Everything We Do’, and we work hard to put our vision into practice on a daily basis.

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, highly motivated administrative assistant to our office team. The successful candidate will be part of a very busy, hard-working office and will work on a wide variety of tasks. The hours of work will be 08:45–12:45 Monday to Friday term time only. (20.00 hours per week) There may be occasional opportunity for additional hours to meet an unplanned task.

The successful candidate will:

  • Provide excellent customer service with a warm and friendly manner;
  • Communicate effectively using a variety of methods including both written communication and verbal interaction;
  • Have a broad range of computer skills and knowledge including Microsoft Office. Previous experience of SIMS and Tucasi would be advantageous but not essential;
  • Have the ability to work as part of a team but will be self-motivated and able to work independently;
  • Maintain strict confidentiality at all times.

Volunteering

 

We welcome volunteers in school and there are many ways that volunteers can help the work of the school such as helping with reading in the classes, supporting learning in class, helping with running a club,  helping in the school grounds, and coming along on trips.
