Children’s Personal, Social, Emotional and Health development is at the heart of Knights Enham Nursery and Infant School’s curriculum. Staff and Governors believe that children’s Personal, Social, Emotional and Health development goes hand in hand with the progress children make in the core subjects such as English and maths and helps the children to become citizens in a democratic modern Britain.
Personal, Social, Emotional and Health education is delivered through Assemblies, Circle Time and is integrated in other subjects.
Each class holds a circle time activity at least once a week. As a Thrive school, we learn how to express feelings and recognise the needs of others. Adults design and deliver sessions to the children based on assessments that identify needs and targets for their classes and individual learners.
